Andrea has over 22 years of diversified public accounting experience in a variety of industries including governmental, nonprofit, colleges and universities and commercial entities. Her areas of expertise include audits of governments and nonprofits including audits of federal programs under OMB Circular A-133.

Andrea is currently the GAO compliance director as well as ParenteBeard’s designated partner of the AICPA Governmental Audit Quality Center.

Andrea earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and has supplemented her education with a variety of continuing education courses. She has done speaking engagements for nonprofit, governmental clients and the Pennsylvania Association of County Controllers on various topics.

Andrea serves the community as a board member of Leadership Wilkes-Barre, and treasurer of Circle 200, a forum for senior executive women in Pennsylvania. She is also on the board of directors and is treasurer of the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts.

Andrea is a graduate of ParenteBeard’s internal leadership development program, Leadership, Entrepreneurism and Achievement at ParenteBeard (LEAP). LEAP was developed as a collaboration of firm executives and representatives of The Pennsylvania State University and is a customized program designed to build the core business skills of partners and managers. LEAP is an intensive three-year program designed to provide team members with valuable insight on topics such as strategic leadership and relationship building.
