Bob Ciaruffoli Elected Chairman of ParenteBeard’s Board of Directors

ParenteBeard has elected Chief Executive Officer Bob Ciaruffoli as chairman of the firm’s board of directors for a five-year term effective January 1, 2012. The unanimous decision was made by the ParenteBeard partner group at the firm’s annual meeting.

Mr. Ciaruffoli’s chairmanship follows the retirement of Lamar Stoltzfus, who retired as an active partner in December 2010 and remained as chairman throughout 2011.

The decision to elect Mr. Ciaruffoli as chairman reflects his comprehensive understanding of both ParenteBeard’s operations and the evolving accounting profession.  Having spent his entire career as an industry leader, Mr. Ciaruffoli will continue to focus on creating value and opportunity for the firm by providing decades of insight and expertise in overseeing the 11 member board.
