Chad Schieken to Speak at Pennsylvania Association of Mutual Insurance Companies Financial Management Seminar

Chad Schieken, director in ParenteBeard’s corporate governance and risk management group, will speak at the Pennsylvania Association of Mutual Insurance Companies’ (PAMIC) Financial Management Seminar on Oct. 23 at the Hershey Country Club in Hershey, PA.

Chad’s informational session, “What to Expect from your CIO: IT Controls that Make Sense,” will explain how standard IT control frameworks can be used, the reason behind implementing many IT controls and what an insurance regulatory agency might expect.

PAMIC is a trade association originally formed for mutual insurance companies, writing property and casualty lines of insurance, domiciled or authorized to do business in Pennsylvania. Today PAMIC is comprised of over 60 companies located in Pennsylvania and surrounding states encompassing Maryland, New Jersey, New York, West Virginia and Virginia.
