Jeff Krull, partner in ParenteBeard’s corporate governance and risk management group and Kevin Rich, an assistant professor of accounting at Marquette University, have co-authored “10 Questions Audit Committees Should Ask” in The CPA Journal’s October 2012 issue.

The article suggests the ten key questions that audit committee members should pose to the management of their organizations and emphasizes the importance of strong communication between an audit committee and a company’s IT leadership. Mr. Krull and Mr. Rich provide sample “red flag responses” and suggested “next steps” for audit committee members.
