New ParenteBeard Team Members Build Bikes for Boys & Girls Club of Allentown
September 23, 2022

ParenteBeard welcomed 62 new team members last week at a kick-off new hire orientation at Bear Creek Mountain Resort & Conference Center in Macungie, Pennsylvania. As part of a team-building exercise to demonstrate the firm’s commitment to one of its core values – Community Service – the new hires built 14 bikes to contribute to the Boys & Girls Club of Allentown, Pennsylvania. With these new bikes, the club will have some fun new exercise equipment for the youth they serve, helping their members reach their full potential as productive and caring, responsible citizens.

Weaver’s Bike Shop, located in Fleetwood, Pennsylvania, assisted the ParenteBeard new hires with their bike endeavor by sending technicians to inspect the bikes for safety before donating.

“These new team members showed a lot of enthusiasm when building bikes for the Boys & Girls Club. Many of them were sharing memories of their first riding experiences and were excited to know that they were giving that same opportunity to children in Allentown,” said Ken Yoder, ParenteBeard manager.
