ParenteBeard Hosting Open House Toy / Book Collection in Support of Children Deserve a Chance Foundation
November 20, 2021

ParenteBeard’s Lancaster office is hosting an open house toy / book collection in support of Children Deserve A Chance Foundation (CDCF) on Friday, December 13, from 12 to 5 p.m. Santa Claus will be the featured guest and CDCF’s Jordan Steffy, founder and executive director, will appear virtually to deliver an appreciative message on behalf of the organization.

The firm’s Lancaster office, located at 1869 Charter Lane, Suite 301, will be collecting toys and books leading up to the open house and through to Monday, December 16. Although the CDCF is pursuing toys and books for both boys and girls, there is a greater need for boy items. All donations should be new and unwrapped. Cash donations, made payable to Children Deserve A Chance Foundation, are also being accepted. Receipts will be provided.

All of the toy and book donations received at ParenteBeard by December 16 will go directly to children attending CDCF’s annual holiday party on Saturday, December 21, 2013. Also featuring Santa Claus, the party is anticipated to bring together over 1,800 guests, comprised of Lancaster inner-city children and their families, for an afternoon of games, food and socializing.

CDCF is dedicated to engaging and empowering Lancaster youth with the value of education and hard work. Through mentoring, tutoring and professional exposure, CDCF strives to build young public-spirited citizens of scholastic excellence and strong principle.
